Ikigai Master

Terms of Service

Effective date: October 1, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and the Ikigai Master team ("we") about using Ikigai Master ("the service"). By using the service you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

Ikigai Master is a guided ikigai session: you fill in four circles in short timed sprints with AI prompts and an AI chat, then get a map of connections, two or three directions and a first step, and can receive a PDF of your circle by email. The service is currently free. We improve it over time, so features may change or be removed. We may suspend or end the service; if you have paid for something we no longer provide, you get a proportional refund.

Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into this agreement. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you accept these terms for it.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
  • send spam, malware or content that harasses, threatens or exploits others;
  • attempt to break, overload or get unauthorized access to the service or other users' data;
  • scrape or resell the service without our written permission.

We may remove content or suspend access that breaks these rules. Where reasonable, we will tell you why.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you add to the service. You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to run the service for you. You confirm you have the right to add it.

AI-generated results

Parts of the service are produced by AI models. Results can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for your situation. They are not professional advice (for example medical, legal, financial, career or psychological). Check anything important before relying on it.

Our rights

The service, its design, code and brand belong to the Ikigai Master team or its licensors. These terms do not give you any rights to them beyond using the service. Open-source components, music and fonts are licensed under their own terms.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we need to for legal reasons.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where the operator of the service is established, and disputes go to its courts. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and can bring claims there.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and, for significant changes, give notice before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
